Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness Center Interesting Conditions, RSD.In October of 2003, Cathy was involved in a motor vehicle accident that changed her life. Prior to this accident she was a healthy mom living a normal life. She was even a high school soccer star.

Unfortunately, this accident resulted in a condition call, RSD,”Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy”, causing severe debilitating pain and burning. Her pain was so severe she was house bound for four years, almost never leaving her home. Walking was difficult because of the severity of pain and frequently had to use a wheelchair.

She related she tried a number of medical procedures in this country including 25 stellate ganglion blocks in her neck and numerous epidural shots. The pain continued to get more severe and was flown to Germany for a Ketamin drip and placed in an induced coma for 7 days. Nothing was helping.

She was referred to my office for Fenzian, Cold Laser and chiropractic care because of our positive results with RSD. The results were not immediate but over several months, Cathy slowly started getting her life back. She stopped using a wheelchair and her chair lift at her house to go up and down steps. She also was able to help around the house and even hug her kids. She was even able to live her dream, which was to go to Disney World with her kids and walk up to the castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Because her pain was decreasing so was her need to take pain medication, which also made her feel better. As time is going by she continues to benefit from care and return her life back to normal.

Cathy stated, “Things that people take for granted, I am just beginning to regain. Because of the treatment at your office and your caring staff I now have hope. That is something I almost lost.”
