The Advanced Chiropractic Center is one of South Jersey’s premier chiropractic offices. Dr. Neil Liebman founded The Advanced Chiropractic Center in Pennsauken, New Jersey in 1988 and has dedicated himself to excellence in chiropractic medicine every day since then.
I am a registered nurse. I worked many areas of the hospital for 20 years until 1992. I then received a Masters degree and was qualified to become a certified school nurse. This position is definitely a passion for me. I pride myself on my medical knowledge and my thirst to find answers and solutions to medical dilemmas of my students, patients, and friends.
I myself was blessed with wonderful health until one day at work in February 2006. I was stricken with a horrific, crushing, stabbing pain on the right side of my head. I was gagging, unable to talk, and was unable to drive home. My right eye even changed shape. After emergency testing a stroke and brain tumor were ruled out.
I was sent to a neurologist immediately. I suggested to the neurologist that I may have shingles in my trigeminal nerve, which involves the temple and face. He discounted my theory because I never broke out with the shingles rash. I was ordered risky medications like, megadoses of steroids, Neurotin and Topamax.
After finding a cervical herniated disk in my neck, I was sent to a pain management physician and received six epidural steroid injections. He also prescribed more medications that caused stomach and bowel issues that required me to get a gastroenterologist because I couldn’t eat do to my nausea.
I then went to a renowned neurologist, who specializes in headaches, at the Pennsylvania hospital with no diagnosis. I also went to a top spinal orthopedic surgeon who said that pain on the right side of my head had nothing to do with my herniated disc. Then, to a maxillofacial surgeon to rule out TMJ.
I then attempted to relieve the pain with Botox injections in my right temple and also acupuncture. At this point I was weak and couldn’t work. I was going to physical therapy three times a week for strengthening as I couldn’t even climb one flight of stairs. Every test imaginable was done. Every body system at this point was affected and I was declining fast. Of all the times to not be able to crack a medical dilemma and it was me!
Finally we found out my original theory was correct and I was suffering with shingles and all the serious side effects that go along with that. A friend of mine kept pleading with me to see Dr. Neil Liebman. She said she didn’t know anything about the Fenzian unit, but her family had miraculous results from it. Finally, after 18 months I went to see Dr. Liebman. I heard that he had treated professional athletes, so I thought if they could afford to go to anyone in this country there must be a reason why they go to Dr. Liebman.
Reluctantly, but secretly optimistic I went. When I arrived at his office I was taken back by the smiling staff and happy patients in the waiting room. That’s something you do not normally see. When I met with Dr. Liebman he was so energetic and one of the happiest people I have ever met. He was also empathetic and listened to my complete medical history. But, what impressed me most was his matter of fact attitude of the ability to “get my body to properly work again”.
When he explained how the Fenzian device worked I then understood the physiological manner in which it works. He said I will help your headache in six to seven sessions. Well my first thought was, he’s nuts! After all this damage to my whole body and he thinks he can help me in six to seven visits! Well he was wrong it only took four visits. I got my life back enjoying my health once again. I’ve expanded my medical knowledge.
I have since referred at least 20 friends, family, coworkers and also complete strangers (who I notice are in pain) to Dr. Liebman. They are all living life pain free. They thank me every time they see me for recommending Dr. Liebman. Now I understand Dr. Liebman’s confidence and own happiness as there is no reward greater than improving the lives of those he serves. I hope I can relay a fraction of that in my own health room.
